Cannot upgrade Windows 8 Pro with Media Center to Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center
Since Windows Store opened up for the update to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8 I have tried to update it but in vain. I have Windows Eight Pro with Media Center. I downloaded the 3.4 GB from the Windows store. But the installation gives errors. The first time the error was 0x8007139f. However I temporarily dismantled my Bit Defender Anti Virus & Fire wall. Then it started giving me 0xc190010b errors. Windows was up to date but in the optional updates I found an update for my Nvidia Video Card I updated that and a few other optional Window 8 up dates. That error went away but error 0x80004005 has cropped up and in spite of my best efforts it does not go away either with the Bit Defender anti virus and the firewall switched off or switched on. I deleted the downloaded 8.1 files by running disk cleanup & downloaded the files again but again received the same error. I did a clean boot but again the same error. I tried to upgrade on another PC of mine which has much less software & programs there the upgrade was successful from Windows 8.0 Pro with Media Center to Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center. But this machine is my main machine from where I work from, how to remove this error so that I can get the benefit of Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center
