Backing up config of a Juniper MAG2600 via console

I have a Juniper MAG2600 series that cannot communicate on the network but I have console access. When the MAG boots up, it displays an error "Internal NIC Down code=0x1"

Is there any way I can pull the config settings from the MAG using the console connection I have? Please explain any steps as clearly as possible as I do not have much experience of Juniper products

The error 0x1 means that the interface link status reported by the NIC remains off (for example, a disconnected cable or a cable in the wrong port).

To connect to serial console, pls see option "7. System Maintenance"

Performing Common Recovery Tasks with the Serial Console

System Maintenance—Enables you to take a system snapshot without using the admin console or perform remote debugging.
When you select system snapshot, the Secure Access Service takes the snapshot immediately. You can then send the snapshot file, by way of SCP, to a remote system. The system prompts you for the destination server port, user ID, password, and the destination path to the remote directory.
If you choose not to send the snapshot file to a remote system, the Secure Access Service saves the file locally. The next time you log in to the admin console, the System Snapshot tab contains a link to the snapshot file.
