SBS2003 to SBS2011 Companyweb Migration

Hi Experts, I am getting this error while trying to restore the database on the destination SBS2011 server:

PS C:\Users\admin_cms> Mount-spcontentdatabase "sharewebdb" -webapplication
Mount-SPContentDatabase : Invalid column name 'HostHeader'.
At line:1 char:24
+ Mount-spcontentdatabase <<<<  "sharewebdb" -webapplication http://companyweb
    + CategoryInfo          : InvalidData: (Microsoft.Share...ContentDatabase:
   SPCmdletMountContentDatabase) [Mount-SPContentDatabase], SqlException
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : Microsoft.SharePoint.PowerShell.SPCmdletMountCon

Any help getting the SBS2003 companyweb page data loaded?

The total database backup is less than 1gb

BTW: when I browse the http://companyweb page I get the default II7 page

If I put http://companyweb/default.aspx - I get a 404 page not found

Sounds like you didn't follow the migration steps. SBS 2003 came with Sharepoint services 2, and SBS 2011 comes with Sharepoint 2010 (v4). Unfortunately there is no direct path from v2 to v4. You must set up v3 as an intermediary step. The SBS 2003 to 2011 migration guide has the steps to do this spelled out in detail.

I am re-running the steps and though the doc doesn't cover doing anything with these errors I will point them out:

dm.exe -o preupgradecheck

Processing configuration file: WssPreUpgradeCheck.xml

        WindowsInternalDatabaseSite... Passed
        MissingWebConfig... Passed
        ReadOnlyDatabase... Passed

I have WSS 3.0 SP 2 installed on the source server - not much else I have found on fixing these errors.
