Generating an Extremely Large MYSQL DB

So I'm stress testing an application and also the loading/import/export functionality of mySQL. My app uses mysqldump to create a .sql file of an entire database and then runs it to load it up somewhere else for deployment.

I'm concerned at what would happen with a 5 gig database and how it would react if i had a 5gb .sql file with the entire database and its data defined within it.

The problem is my company has no MySQL db over 8 mb. Is there a way to generate a rather large database for testing purposes? something better than just running a loop of insert statements?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
