I want to be able to have the login avatars that I am used to having on the home edition on my domain computer at work.  The reason is that 3 people share this computer on the domain.  Is there a way to have the 3 user avatars pop up at the login screen on a domain environment?

I haven't done this on a domain, but this page seems to indicate that you can:

"Open User Accounts by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking User Accounts and Family Safety (or clicking User Accounts, if you are connected to a network domain), and then clicking User Accounts.

Click Change your picture.

Click the picture you want to use, and then click Change Picture.

To use your own picture, click Browse for more pictures, navigate to the picture you want to use, click the picture, and then click Open. You can use a picture of any size, but it must have one of the following file name extensions: .jpg, .png, .bmp, or .gif."

Do you mean that you want the classic logon instead of the CTRL-ALT-DEL one?

You can change that, but it's not best practice:
