Restore User folder locations incorrect for User Profile

Hello,

I am running Windows 7 Home Pre 64 bit.

I lost all my pictures, documents and settings.  When I look at the My Pictures folder properties the location points to:   C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile.  However all my files and settings are there located under the correct folder C:\Users\myaccount.

When I change the folder location to the correct location it does work.  However if I hit Restore Defaults it goes back to C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile

Anyone know where the "Restore Defaults" location is located?

Found a solution.

The profile was corrupt and windows was using a temp profile.  Found solution here:

http://www.sysprobs.com/fix-temporary-profile-windows-7

The first solution worked, In the registry edit the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList, rename the new profile and remove the .bak from the backup.

Run a full chkdsk on reboot, the old profile came back.
