How to setup Outlook Anywhere in Exchange 2007 server

This is using a single MS Exchange Server 2007, without SP. The Exchange version is, 08.03.0245.001. My boss just bought a public certificate from GoDaddy, and he wanted me to setup the outlook anywhere on the exchange server. How to do it? Can show steps-by-steps?

thanks,

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

you should seriously consider to update your exchange 2007 environment to exchange 2007 sp3 as well.
First import and enable the third party certificate for IIS,SMTP using exchange powershell and then enable outlook anywhere as above article.

The version of Exchange you have is no longer supported. As already outlined you should upgrade to SP3 with the latest update before exposing the server to the internet. The later service packs resolve a number of problems with Outlook Anywhere on Exchange 2007 that existed in RTM, particularly around IPv6 configuration and other bits.

Problems using Powershell and Active Directory?

Managing Active Directory does not always have to be complicated.  If you are spending more time trying instead of doing, then it's time to look at something else. For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why

Hi all,

Mks shows the enabling exch for outlook anywhere. Ow about the certificate for it? How to use powershell bind to it?

Simon Butler (Sembee)ConsultantCommented:
You don't bind a certificate to Outlook Anywhere specifically. It uses the same certificate as OWA.
