Accessing windows from android device?

How can I access Windows shares from a Android device?

I want to open PDF documents from a windows server 2008, add comments, mark them up and then save the changes back.  Whats the best way to achieve this?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I've tried it and it doesn't work from a 2008 server.  Lots of people have issues with this application.  I've also tried cheetah sync and it only seams to sync one way.  Any had any had any experience of transferring files from android to windows shares?

You may be able to use something like AndSMB.  It works fine for me with 2008.

It works.  However, I think the downloading and uploading maybe a little complicated than we need.  The process to alter a document in "andSMB" (Once the connection is setup) is to:

1. Connect to SMB share
2. Select file
3. Download file
4. switch to local view
5. open document and make changes
6. then upload the file

I was hoping for:

1. Open App to present remote folder share
2. Open File and make changes (auto save changes to remote share)
