You need to know the size of the cabinet or rack, the total power consumption for all the &nbsp;internal equipment, and the max allowable temperature. &nbsp;That will tell you how much cooling (cubic feet per minute) you need.<br />

I need an advice on getting a fairly quiet (30dB tops) fan to install on a side panel. I need to be ablt to plug it directly in the mains, so either a 230Vac or one that comes with its own power supply, or can be powered by a generic usb power supply. Size is flexible, as the panel can be cut out, but approx. 200-300mm would be best.<br />
