"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi tawonda-

I don't believe that there's an off the shelf active X control that'll show a mailbox from outlook elsewhere.

If you're using exchange, might you be able to use an embedded web browser to bring up the OWA site from within Access?  WOuld that work for you?

Also, note that you can easily SEND email messages from Access out via Outlook.

Hope this helps at least get you started.

Too late, but Access and Outlook 2007 and later do let you integrate with Outlook.   The external data source can be your Outlook folders.   After all, Outlook is an Access database!
