Recover Deleted Items

Odd thing not sure if it's normal or not, but I find it odd and very annoying.
I am in the process of manually cleaning up mailboxes at one of our locations that has ran out of disk space.

I am archiving mail messages to PST files for people and have discovered that these messages are going into the users Recover Deleted Item and when it reaches a certain size I can't move anything until I delete that folder.

Is it possible to make this stop happening? An just have them really delete when i move them from the account?

It's kind of annoying.

Its at our plant in Mexico and they have a Storage device that has no more ability to have space added.

:-( It's quite frustrating.

you can add better compression, and/or move the mail system to a dedicated server

You can do w few things :
1. You can create a retention policy for 0 DAYS.
Example how to create a retention policy here :

2. Empty the dumpster manually :

Hope this would help.
