"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you wanting to share it from the server or install it directly as a network printer on the workstation (usually the better option)?

Put a check in the x64 box and load the 64bit driver on the server as shown in the laserjet picture.  If you cannot load the x64 driver its because it is not identical to the 32bit driver. So you would download the latest 32bit and 64bit drive and load them both on the server for the latest ones would be identical.
Install the driver on the Win 7 PC as a local printer (using either LPT1 or a Standard TCP/IP port). Then connect to the server and install the printer.

If you want to bypass the server, just install it on the PC with a Standard TCP/IP port. Make sure to install it as a local printer
