Move msg into folder from hard drive

I have a load of .msg files from an outlook folder I would like to re-import into a particular folder in outlook.

I know I could simply drag and drop all the files, however I would like to do it by code.

I have managed to copy mailItems between folders in VBA and assume its roughly the same, but don't know how to open an mailItem from a harddrive. I assumed it would have been something like:-
dim tmpMailItem as MailItem
tmpMailItem.open "d:\msg3223.msg"

Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

All the Outlook gurus I know all recommend using the  GetMessageFromMsgFile function in this utility: http://www.dimastr.com/redemption/home.htm

Redemption can:
Import MSG, MIME (EML/RFC822), vCard, iCalendar and TNEF files
