I am looking for a free javascript vertical overmouse dropdown menu script. Not a menu maker, just the good all ready made script, I want I want to place it in a cgi web page and it uses templates html where I can place it in.
I have look on the internet, but most of the ones I find are menu makes, don't want to get into that.

I found one put I can not figure out how to change the drop down categories and subcategories menus. I have tried the menu.css but that didn't do anything, it must be in the js file, but I know so little about javascript

I suggest you to take a look to:
1. how to build a dropdown (see http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_select.asp)
2. how to add/remove options (in an array with the push method http://www.w3schools.com/jsref/jsref_push.asp or in the menu itself with http://www.w3schools.com/jsref/coll_select_options.asp)
3. how to assign an event (see http://www.w3schools.com/jsref/event_onmouseover.asp)
