NetBackup 7.5 Restore for Exchange messages

We have NetBackup 7.5 , I need to restore a message for a user.
when I go NetBack console, and look for the date and database, I can find what I am looking for, however I cannot see user mailboxes inside the database, I mean you cannot expand the database.

Someone may suggests creating Recovery database in Exchange and restore the whole Database to RDB, but The database is huge, It will take forever to be restored.

I am just wondering why Netbackup 7.5 does not have the capacity to restore individual messages, at least individual mailboxes, or there is something that I am misunderstanding.

I also went to Exchange server that is hosting the user mailbox I wanted to restore the message from, as you know Netbackup has a client installed on the server, I should be able to restore from the client Netbackup without using the Netbackup full blown console, but it has not worked for me either.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thank you

The only way to restore individual items using Netbackup is using their GRT solution (grandular recovery technology). You will also need the Exchange Netbackup Agent install on the Exchange Mailbox servers in question.  Below i have provided a couple links which should get you on your way .
