Hi,
Create an email and send to a group to alert
I have 50+ users gmail id's and every 12 hrs for 10 days they have an activity to be done. Is there a way i can create a calendar alert all set and email them and when they install it they have an alert popup that reminds them?

Thanks

Question far too vague to answer.

What email client/server?
What calendar client/server?

OK, so you can create an email and create the event there. Now that GMail recognises events contained in emails all recipients will automatically have it added to their calendar.

Then you go into your calendar and edit the event details to be repeating, and set the start and end date.

It seems that you can't have an event repeat twice a day every day so you need to create two events in two emails (I've already tried adding two events to one email), one for the hour #1 task, one for the hour #12 task.

Another option is to use a shared calendar...
