how do i allowing to SQL port 2433 to go through firewall on Windows server 2012?

i have install SQL database on Windows server machine and i able to connect from outside the network to SQL DB only when firewall is down, how do i turn firewall up but allowing Port 2433 communicate with SQL server? (how do i open port 2433 in Windows server 2012?)

You could set the firewall rule using Powershell:

New-NetFirewallRule -DisplayName "Allow Port 2433" -Direction Inbound -LocalPort 2433 -Protocol TCP-Action Allow

Also, are you sure you have the right port for your SQL server?  By default, it uses port tcp/1433
