2003 windows server blocking IP address ranges.

I need to block incoming and out going traffic from a particular IP address range. How do I go about setting this up?

If you need to do this specifically on the server you can use Windows Firewall or a 3rd Party firewall to accomplish this.

Setup Windows Firewall to block IP or IP range. (this is for windows 2008 but same concept for 2003)

Advanced firewall's interface is a bit different between 2003 & 2008.

Take a look at the following link as it illustrates this for 2003 firewall. You can also use Security Filtering if you like...

Windows 2003 firewall is actually much easier :)
