Need driver for VX 1000 Lifecam

I am looking for a driver that would work with the MS Lifecam vx 1000 on various websites. It appears that the driver that is native to the vx 1000 doesn't allow the cam to be seen on some websites.

What's this mean?
"doesn't allow the cam to be seen on some websites"
