Shadow copy creation failed because of error reported by ASR Writer. More info: The parameter is incorrect. (0x80070057).
Event 5
EventID: 4100 (Windows Backup)
Backup did not complete successfully because a shadow copy could not be created. Free up disk space on the drive that you are backing up by deleting unnecessary files and then try again.

The Shadow Copy is enabled and the service is set to manual.
We went though http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968128 but no avail
Any ideas?
Many Thanks

For Evnet id 8193:

-- This event indicates that an unexpected Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) error has occurred.

-- To assign the appropriate privileges to the Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) writer user account we have followed the below articles.

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc734219(v=ws.10).aspx

For event id 12290 check all the vss files (ntfs.sys, volsnap.sys, vssvc.exe) are updated.
