I have this system in my complex. DS2 .
I really wish we could get higher resolution (at least 720p) without paying thousands per camera.

Anyone familiar with this system and can suggest anything? Can it support a higher resolution?

Thanks.

In looking at the manual for that DVR system, it looks like the best it supports is 480p NTSC.   Even with 720p cameras, you would still be limited to a 480p capture.

Here's the manual,

Got it.   So I need to replace the DVR to get a better resolution.  Anyway to upgrade a DVR?

Great!  Would this cam run with my current DVR? Or still need a new DVR to support 720p?

According to the manual it should work fine, it just won't capture at 720.   For 720, you need a new DVR,
