exclude packages in pmd rules

Hi ,

I need to exculde one package from PMD Check. because that code is automatically  generated  code so i dodnt to check the package for code review .

How to write those  exculde rules  in pmd_rules.xml file

The exact format to use is given in the documentation for the maven_pmd_plugin.

Have you tried that and are having issues with it? Or are you saying that you would like it to be dynamic for whatever class may come into that package?

Can you give me anything more than that? Do you get an error, does it just silently ignore it? Can you post your pom.xml file and the properties file?

Also, if you aren't getting an error, can you try running maven with the debug flag and see if it gives you any further clue as to what is happening?
