PDF is bringing over all sheets in an excel file when combing.

I have Adobe XI.  I am new to this version.  In the preferences I do not have the convert entire work book checked, but when I combine excel worksheets into a pdf file, Adobe is bringing every tab of the excel file over instead of just the tab that is open.  How do I stop this?

You could use an app like Bullzip PDF Printer to "print" in PDF format as few or as many tabs as you like!

In prior version of Acrobat it would only bring over the open (selected tab) of an excel sheet. So I am wondering if they think this is an enhancement to bring them all over and then select what you want or if there is a problem with the software since I chose the option to only bring over the selection.

I just tested Save as PDF directly in Excel 2010 (so it should work in 2007, 2011 and 2013 as well).

This will save the selected tabs as one PDF file. So it is Export from Excel rather than Import to Acrobat. But at least you get the required result!

When you are trying to combine about 20 different files into one PDF, this would be quite a pain to open each on do a save as and then combine them.  I am really just trying to get Adobe to work properly instead of finding a way around it.  I appreciate the help though. Thanks.

I searched quite thouroughly and could not find any references to directly importing an Excel file as PDF to Acrobat, regardless of the version!
