Wordpress and PageNavi plugin. Error 404

Ever since updating WP to the new version, PageNavi on the homepage of the website is not working anymore. However it works on a different page. Please help

http://tgsmusclecars.com.au/ - PageNavi doesnt work, 404 return

http://tgsmusclecars.com.au/search-results-2/ - PageNavi works

Any suggestions?

May I suggest to try the Plugin "wp-paginate".

eemit: I did that and now my site simply says "For advanced pagination, please install the PageNavi plugin." where the pagination used to be.

Did you delete (uninstall) PageNavi Plugin?

Did you read the readme.txt file of the Plugin wp-paginate?
Please read the Section: *Implement*.

This has been resolved without help. After trying your suggestions without success I decided to re-design the site's functionality to accept other pagination plugins.
