Looking for howto's on adding maps to various games

I am looking for a website that has browsable howto's on adding maps to any kind of game. I am especially interested in the games Quake 1 - 4, the whole Command & Conquer series (including Red Alert and so on), Half-Life and StarCraft.

Know of any one good site that has all of this?

No - AFAIK there isn't one site that covers all the game you list.

For all of them it's basically about copying the map file into the maps folder under your profile.  If the files are in the correct format then when you next launch the game they become available.

There are slight variations on file locations based on installation paths and game versions (and whether or not you are playing them through a download manager like Steam or EADM)

So the path in Windows is slightly different for example between Generals/Zero Hour and Red Alert 2

The individual game install paths are pretty much just a Google away using "Install maps" and the game and version name.
