I just setup an Exchange 2013 server and I am looking to find how to set the default email address from a .local email address to the .com address for my users. At the same time I setup the Exchange 2013 server, I also setup a new domain that is .local. So, every account created gets the .local email address.
When I create new users I am only allowed to create a .local email address and I do not have the choice to create a .com address for my new users. I can only add the .com address as an additional email address.
How do I make the .com email address for my users the default email address? Once this is done, should I remove all of the .local email addresses and not make that a choice anymore? What is the best practice?
