Prevent Text messages in Inbox Exchange 2010
How can I prevent a user from receiving cell phone text messages in his Outlook Inbox? We're running Exchange 2010 SP 2
What do you mean by cell phone text message, can you elaborate more.

With Exchange 2010 users can receive their text messages in their Outlook Inbox. Some users would like to turn this feature off. I believe there is a setting in ECP that users can select.
Can you post the screenshot
ASKER
There is no screenshot to show. I simply want a way to prevent text messages from appearing in my Inbox.

Clear-TextMessagingAccount -Identity 'user@contoso.com' (email address)
However, there must be something else involved as this doesn't prevent the receiving of text messages to my Outlook Inbox.

After removing the both Policies from my account and restarting the 'MS Exchange Mailbox Assistants' Service in Exchange, I still get the messages in my Inbox.

It shows a check box. Check if you can see similar option.

I have no such rule in place. I believe this is strictly an ECP issue and not Outlook.

My research shows the issue was solved through this site. The unchecking of SMS Sync took care of it for me.
