Dear all,

Right now fixing another problem after ugprading to Windows 8.1 but I think this is the setting problem and it seems once I upgrade the NVidia display card drive on my PC (but should not related), my IE and the Windows store seem can't connect to the internet at all, which I can few minutes ago.

Chrome can surf the internet, and ONCE VPN connected, it can !!

How can I troubelshoot it?

any setting in Windows 8.1 / IE 11 can check, I just relocated the IE history to somewhere else !!

The very first things you can try are:

1. Go into Internet Settings, Advanced, and select Restore Advanced Settings
2. Close IE, reboot and try accessing the store
3. If that doesn't work then go into Internet Settings, Advanced, and select Reset (you can leave your personal data). Reboot and try again.

Beyond that, I know that a ton of people have been having issues with 8.1 so it could be anything.

"2. Close IE, reboot and try accessing the store"

Oh, it really works for me, thanks. but the most funny thing is this morning I tried:

"1. Go into Internet Settings, Advanced, and select Restore Advanced Settings"

But I don't reboot the PC, why is that needed?

It isn't needed inside of IE but I thought it might help reset the Store connection issues.
