search for emails from .cn or .us and for name field with just one word.

In outlook 2010 how can I search for emails which have specific ending address and I would also like to be able to search for those which the from name is only one word.

How can I do this or do I need to write some code ?

Open Advanced Find (keyboard shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+F)
        Outlook 2007
        Tools-> Instant Search-> Advanced Find…
        Outlook 2010
        Place your cursor in the Search Field-> tab Search-> button Search Tools-> Advanced Find…
    Select the Advanced tab.
    Press Field and select All Mail Fields-> From
    Set Condition: to "Contains"
    Set Value: to "Put what you are looking for"
    Press "Add to List"
    Press "Find Now"

it will not find .us or .ru even when I have emails from those domains

Press Field and select All Mail Fields-> Email Account

Contains ".us" and see what happens

Can you take a screen shot of what is in the email account options. I have outlook 2007 at work but at home have outlook 2010.  I was not able to look into it further but if I can see the options I am able to narrow it done.

Did you try All Mail Fields = From  and the condition= contains  Value = .us
