EMC VNX CX4-120 and ESX Host

hello everyone,

I need to add ASAP two new esx hosts to my emc vnx cx4-120 clarrion. I need assistance please. I donnot know how to set it up. They are configured with Fiber Channel and are plugged in Fiber Channel Ports. I cant seem to find the setting where i allow the EMC storage to see the ESX hosts.

You will need to obtain the WWNN of the Fibre Channel HBA storage cards in both hosts, and then you will need to add these WWNN to your LUNs on the SAN, and to your Zone Fabric.

Go to http://support.emc.com and check the documentation. You'll need the Host Connectivity Guide for VMware. The guide includes procedures for host connectivity. You can download it from:

You can also generate your own custom documentation here: http://corpusweb130.corp.emc.com/upd_prod_CX4/ - follow the link for Attach a Host. This will generate a step-by-step procedure for setting up the array, the server, the fibre channel switches and VMware itself.
