This was a local datastore with some isos.
Why the datastore is still saved ?

Do you have a trick to connect the again ?

Check that no virtual machines, are using datastore1, e.g. you have no floppy drives or cd-roms, connected to images or isos, that were on datastore1.

this will prevent datastore1 from disappearing from the inventory.

noting is connected, because it is a a local store from a disconnected host.

If you connect directly to this host, via vSphere Client, rename the datastore, datastore_x, can you add it to vCenter Server.

it thinks that there are currently 3 virtual machines or templates on that datastore?

you have no greyed out virtual machines or templates in the inventory?

now i added it again.
The idea was correct.
I have delteted the datastore on the host and created a new one.
Now the host is added again to my cluster.
