Hi

I am running Apache as a reverse proxy server with Oracle Apex on CentOS 6.4.
The URL Apex generates is quite ugly and search engine unfriendly.

Therefore we need URL rewriting so that URL becomes nice.

So http://mydomain.com/no/hjem should bring http://http://mydomain.com/apex/f?p=200:1:0::::p0_spraak:328 in the background.

Can someone please help?

Regards,
Habib

Is the entire URL unique, or is it just small parts of it?  If you have a number of these, you may want to consider using RewriteMap.

A single rule might look something like this:

RewriteRule /?no/hjem http://mydomain.com/apex/f?p=200:1:0::::p0_spraak:328 [NC,R,L]

Open in new window

If the friendly URL could include some query string values, be sure to add the [QSA] flag to the rule.
