turn off alerts on my iphone from a shared calendar on outlook 2010 using exchange

I have several users that are using iphones to view their outlook calendar when they are away from the office. They want to receive the task and reminder alerts from their main calendar but not the calendars that users have shared with them. How do I do this??

You can't.

On the iphone you have a choice of whether or not to sync calendar items on an Exchange connection. But there's no choice there to select to only get alerts from your own calendar, and not on calendar entries from other people's calendars.

If it syncs, and it appears as a new or modified calendar entry, you will get alerted.
