I have what probably a simple question, but want to make sure I get it right before potentially messing something up.
I am running a KMS server on a Windows 2008 server Currently that server activates Windows 7 and Office 2010. We are starting to role out Office 2013 and checking my volume license site I can see where it has a different license key than the 2010 one. After installing I waited a few minutes to see if perhaps it would still activate the Office 2013 install and of course it wouldn't.
Is fixing this problem as simple as going to the KMS sever and adding in an additional KMS key for 2013? Since there are a number of things already activated with that KMS server, will I still have to do the 10 or 20 or whatever the number of 2013 Offices there are before it actually works?
add the 2013 key and yes you will require the # of licenses

And yes you will need minimum of 5 installs to start the activations
