Hi Experts,

    I have a calendar on my teams SharePoint site. My team will release daily bulletins for the rest of the organization to read.  The master bulletin spreadsheet that we use is located else where within SharePoint that we all have access to and can update.  My question:    What would be the easiest way to link this master bulletin spreadsheet into the corresponding day within the calendar?  if you hoover over that day, the "Add" link appears and I see where you can add a file but when we try and add the path to that file to this it doesn't work.  Any suggestions on how to make this work are GREATLY APPRECIATED!

What do you mean with

?

As far as I understand, you have an (one) Excel file with bullitins (rows) and one column contains the date.
Would you now want to update the calendar with new bulletins added to the Excel sheet?
Or simply add a link to the Excel sheet resulting that multiple/all events link to the same file?

And which SharePoint version and edition are you targeting?

Would like to add a link to each day of the calendar basically.  The hyperlink would link to a master spreadsheet that contains the data.  The master file is housed at a different location in SharePoint.  When you click the "Add" link it allows you to browse to a file.  In this case though, I just want to point the link to that master spreadsheet, so when they click on the link it takes them to the spreadsheet that is in SharePoint.

Hi,
which SharePoint version and edition?
What kind of list is it (which template)?

The add link in a calendar view normally adds a new event.

I would open the list, add a new column of type "Hyperlink/Picture" and use this field to link to your master file.
