I am attempting to add newly created databases to Oracle OEM 12c. When I click on Add within Oracle OEM and follow prompts, selecting the host, it doesnt show the new databases (new as in the past month or two). How do I get Oracle OEM to see these databases to be able to add them to OEM?
Thanks!

in oracle You don't need to create new databases as in sql server/mysql to be viewed in oem , just create new user / schema with create user statement with resources tablespace available and You should be good

Ill take a look at the document you sent. Just so you understand, database is created and is being used for the last month. I just want to be able to monitor it in OEM. Not sure what you mean by create new user/schema? I will take a look at doc maybe that will give me more insight as to what you mean.

I had to open an SR with Oracle cause nothing was working. They had me edit the following file and add an entry for my database and it worked.

File to edit was /etc/oratab

Nothing was working till I opened a support case with Oracle. They provided me with file to edit that resolved the issue.
