Years ago, we traveled to places much colder than Ruidosso where we might go this year. <br />

In the days before the internet, shops would sell the latest gear and if you knew what to buy, then looking for the latest thing really did make a difference. Today, I don't want to pay the kind of prices charged by resort areas but would like to know what the best gear is so that we can make a reasonable choices online.<br />

We may not ski at all so we are looking for something that can get us prepared in case we ski but not be a waste of money if we don't.<br />
