I'm using the Woo Commerce plugin Print Invoice

I need to show the Date Shipped on the invoice. Date Shipped is a Woo Commerce field in the administrative order detail screen,

Have you spoke to WooCommerce?  Usually when you buy something on the Internet,  you get emailed an invoice (maybe print a PDF - I would reconsider this, browsers sometimes lock up on this function) and just email the invoice.  Or put a print option that takes them to an HTML page.  

And then see if they have something that can email the customer (or email them a PDF) with the date shipped.  Unless your inventory is pretty good and can definitely make sure the item is shipped when they order it, you might run into some problems - chargebacks.  There is one reason code - the item / service was not delivered when promised.
