Server 2012 Remote Desktop Services Failed Installation

I'm having issues with Remote Desktop Services with Server 2012. Every time I try to install it fails, with the following in the Event Viewer.

Update SBMgr-UI of package SessionDirectoryServerRole failed to be turned on. Status: 0x80070bc9.

Update SBMgr-UI of package SessionDirectoryServerRole failed to be turned on. Status: 0x80070bc9.

Update Windows-Internal-Database of package Windows-Internal-Database-Package failed to be turned on. Status: 0x80070bc9.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the catch though, this isn't while installing updates, this is while trying to add the Remote Desktop Services Role, and this same error is occurring on 3 separate fresh installs of Server 2012.

I will give that a shot when I can take the downtime.

Do you have any Anti-Virus in installed ? if yes, kindly disable it and then try ? there are situation when anti-virus stops making entry to the registry and what if you try to add any other role on the issue facing server ,are you facing the same error ?

What license sever did you configure???? I don't have any license server installed?
