Audio over HDMI from macbook air

Hi,
I am setting up for a presentation, gotomeeting that we want to attend in the boardroom on an HDTV,  - I've plugged in my macbook air to the TV with an hdmi cable and a mini adaptor that does in the thunderbolt port I think - I can see the screen mirrored, which is great, but no audio is coming over the HDMI, it's playing front he macbook's speakers - in system preferences I can see that the "samsung" TV is listed as an output audio device, but nothing seems to be coming through.
What do I need to look at to get this set up?
Kind Regards
Steven

My HDMI cable is connected but there is no audio.

Try changing: In System Preferences >, select Sound. > Click on the Output tab. > Select your HDMI Device from the list
