MS SQL Datatype - Equivalent for list or Array

Do we have an dataype in MS SQL to store array or list as a datatype . If so can you please share the tutorial for the same  .

What is an array if not a table?!  Seriously though, closest you can get is a table variable. http://www.sqlteam.com/article/using-table-variables
