Hi,

I'm hearing buzz about problems/incompatibility of Windows 2008 not being able to support serial connections to APC Smart UPS units.

Is this the case?  I'll be glad to switch to USB connectivity, but I want to ensure this is the case.

Thanks in advance.

Works fine for me.

Had a SBS 2008 on an APC Smart 2200  for over 3 years using the serial port on a Dell Poweredge.
