Hello,
We have this site: http://revitalens.pro and we are trying to make this into a responsive wordpress site. This is the dev link: http://revitalens.pro/revitalenspro765 . We will be adding another video and have download options for that video as well. The problem is that I am not able to upload the video. It is a large video. We want to use that responsive theme we have installed at the moment. We want to be able to have 2 separate pages with 2 different videos and have download links for these videos (like it is on the current site). What would be the best way for me to go about this? We would embed the video but we don't like how youtube gives you those additinal video images when the video is done. Thanks for your help in advance.

Put the video on YouTube and then just embed it in the site.  You can tweak the embedding code so that it doesn't show recommended videos at the conclusion.

YouTube is far superior to any other video embedding method available to small sites.

What about for downloading the file? Could I upload it through my ftp and have it appear that way so people can download it when they want?

Anyone who wants to download a video will do so and has the tools available.  Unless you are attempting to distribute the video as a marketing piece, I just wouldn't worry about it.

If you insist, the best thing to do is create a zip file from the video and upload that to the site via FTP.  Then just link to the zip file.

So my boss says we cannot put the video on Youtube. Due to some company issues or whatever. So I uploaded the video through ftp and used the "Add from Server" plugin to get it to show up in my media library. But now I have this: http://revitalens.pro/revitalenspro765 . Why is my video not playing?

Yea I added a JW player plugin to get it to work. So am I correct in understanding that video won't play on its own without a player?

Depends on the video file and WordPress version.  If you are using a common file and have WordPress 3.7 you can now just do a shortcode:

or drop in the full link.
