DCOM got error "1084" attempting to start the service WSearch with arguments

Used Malwarebytes removeing 6 or so items, Superantispyware removing 4000 items, both in safe mode. Used Hijackthis and analyzer to remove couple of items. Still boots and logins but then blue screen with error 0000003b and the error DCOM got error "1084" attempting to start the service WSearch with arguments appears in the system log. Tried other ram and another power supply still does this. Safemode works ok as I'm sending this while in safe mode. I'm thinking about moving the hard drive to a different computer with acronis to see if it is the motherboard. Hope somebody is familiar with this and if it is some malware that is causing this.  The computer is a acer aspire amd 4 gig  ram with vista all updates are installed.

Thanks

that much errors point to a corrupt OS, so my suggestion is to backup and do a fresh install

you can test if the hardware works fine by running from a live cd :
 http://www.ubcd4win.com/                              ubcd  Win
ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/knoppix-dvd/KNOPPIX_V7.0.5DVD-2012-12-21-EN.iso      Knoppix

**i prefer the Knoppix - easy to make and run; + it uses different drivers

ASKER

I removed all drivers in safe mode including processor drivers in the lower end of the device driver list. Was able to login normal mode and moved on optimizing the system. There were 9 user profiles and years of programs installed. Would have been a disaster for the users to get back to their useful and well used system.

I think that many times the old just format it is chosen to quickly!
