how to catch action of facebook-like and twitter-follow in jquery

I have a website that has a page with a facebook-like and a twitter-follow for someone to click and action their like/follow.

How do I capture the post-action so I can do something ajax-y afterwards?

Can we see the code HTML code that you use for your buttons. If the buttons have ID or a selector that you an uniquely identify, then you can probably bind a function to the click event
