\\gajah\backups is not accessible ..... The specified network password is not correct.

Hi Experts,

I changed the password for a share (backups) on my NAS.

Now I am getting this error:

\\GAJAH\backups is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network
resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

The specified network password is not correct.

But Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit will not let me change the credentials for \\GAJAH\backups

\\GAJAH\backups was accessible with the "remembered" (previous) password.

can you acces it if you change the password back to what it was? or better remove it completely
then i would break the network connection, and set it up again with the desired one

Thanks, nobus.

Yes, I can access it if I change the password back to what it was.

How do I "break the network connection"?

you right click on it and select break network connection
but i assume you don't have one; from your reaction

There was no "select break network connection" command, but after a reboot Windows forgot the connection without me doing anything.
