I have a couple months worth of data that I want to break down by week?  I know to break it down by month I would use something like this
if totext({ArInvoice.InvoiceDate}, 'MM-dd-yyyy') startswith "01" then "January" else

,but not sure about breaking it down into weeks.

Crystal provides an easy way to do it.

Group on the date field
When you group on a date field you get the option to group on a period.  Just choose WEEK

ANother way is to use DatePart

DatePart ("ww",{DateField})  returns the week number.

You can also use DatePart("m",{DateField}) to get the month

MOnth({DateField}) also returns the month
