I want to setup a laptop to dual boot with win7 on one partition and linux mint on the other.
I would like for the linux install to be encrypted.
I have setup the dual boot thing several times on other laptops, but have never encrypted the linux partition
is there some special thing i need to do during the linux install to encrypt the linux partition?

Here is how to do that:

But beware I have heard of the cases where encryption can cause a performance hit.
