Can you run shrink on the master database

someone moved some tables in there by mistake we have moved them out but still shows at 8gig  I am pretty sure just white space

you need to figure out why your masterdb is so big ? it shouldn't growing so big unless the developers by mistakenly creating the db objects and populating them..
