Sharepoint 2013 - Use Site Template as a List/Document Content Type

Hello,
I've created a Site Template which I'd like to be able to use in a List or Document Library as a Content Type. Does anyone know how to do this?

I would like a Project List/Document Library, that when someone wants to start a new Project they click on 'New' in the List/Document Library and up comes the Site Template I created.

Thank you.
